...things Yoga has taught me...

1.) Shifting you weight (perspective) just the slightest bit can TOTALLY change the experience (the view).

2.) Whenever I have the thought, "I am badass," The world says, "oh yeah?" and I quickly realize that I am really only kinda badass, with always infinite more room to become more and more badass.

3.) If I practice something when I have lots of time and space, it is easier to do when I feel pressured and frantic.

4.) It feels just as good (maybe sometimes better) to touch someone and help them feel better, as to be touched and helped to feel better.

5.) I am kinda badass.

6.) I live in an amazing vessel that allows me to move freely through this world, and I am grateful for it.

7.) Yoga can be like gardening, it helps me cultivate peace and gratitude and the more I tend to my peace and gratitude, the more I have.

8.) My dog loves it when I do yoga asana, she nudges, licks, and cuddles me while I move. It makes me laugh.

9.) I can only ever know where my edge is when I let myself fall. I like knowing right where my edge is.

10.) Falling therefore makes me better.

11.) Me and Ganesha are great friends.

12.) People like me most when I am open and honest.

13.) I like me most when I am open and honest.

14.) I want to help the world me more open and honest.

15.) I love to laugh at myself, watch other people laugh at me, and laugh at other people (by at, I guess I mean with, but sometimes I forget to laugh at myself until someone laughs at me... maybe it is OK to laugh at people sometimes.... I will continue to ponder that one).

16.) Everyone doesn't like me... amazing I know... but regardless of how sweet, funny and amazing I may be everyone in this world doesn't want to be my friend, and that is a-ok.

17.) I like Tonglen, a lot. It isn't really yoga in the purest sense but the first time I did it was in a yoga class and I really like it. The best description I have head is using your body like a waste water treatment plant. This may also be why I like it so much, waste water treatment plants always remind me of my lovely friend Mel (she already knows this, and that I am very strange, she still likes me.)

18.) Doing yoga makes me happy.

19.) I become increasingly flexible with each passing day of my life, and I don't just mean my muscles. My husband appreciated this.

20.) I love being taught, as well as teaching.

thank you yoga, love lucy.

Happy Happy Holidays!

Yes.  I am being a bad blogger for which I expect nothing less than a big bag of....

However, I plan on buying a new hard drive for my little computer after the Christmas holiday and expect to be up and running in a week or so, wish me luck.

Sean and I are forgoing family Christmas this year and are headed to the North Carolina Mountains (Ashville) for a long weekend of room service, mountain biking, movie watching and hiking (with the little furry black rascal in tow)...

Have a great Christmas!

Love to you all...
